　　培養(yǎng)目標(biāo)本專業(yè)培養(yǎng)適應(yīng)社會主義市場經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)需要，德、智、體、美全面發(fā)展，具備扎實(shí)的英語語言文學(xué)基本理論知識和英語語言基本技能，并能熟練運(yùn)用英語在翻譯、教學(xué)、外事管理部門和涉外企事業(yè)單位從事英語語言文字工作、具有創(chuàng)新精神和實(shí)踐能力的應(yīng)用型人才。

　　培養(yǎng)要求本專業(yè)學(xué)生主要學(xué)習(xí)英語語言、文學(xué)、歷史、政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、社會文化等方面的基本理論和基本知識，受到英語聽、說、讀、寫、譯等方面的良好的訓(xùn)練，掌握一定的科研方法，具有一定的人文社會科學(xué)和自然科學(xué)基本理論知識，掌握本專業(yè)的基礎(chǔ)知識、基本理論、基本技能，具有獨(dú)立獲取知識、提出問題、分析問題和解決問題的基本能力及開拓創(chuàng)新的精神具備一定的從事本專業(yè)業(yè)務(wù)工作的能力和適應(yīng)相鄰專業(yè)業(yè)務(wù)工作的基本能力與素質(zhì)，具有從事翻譯、教學(xué)、管理工作的業(yè)務(wù)水平。

　　Featuredbyvitality,English(LinguisticsandLiterature)hasbeenthrivingallalongtheyearsofitsdevelopment.Theindustriousfacultymembers’academicachievement,togetherwiththeconstantimportanceattachedtothecourseconstruction,fromlisteningandspeakingtotranslation,fromintegratedEnglishtolinguisticsandliterature,helpslayasolidfoundationofthestudents’fivebasicskills—listening,speaking,reading,writingandtranslationandtaptheirpotentialinthestudyofthelanguage.Inaddition,fortheneedsofourstudentsandoftalentmarkets,adjustmentsofthecurriculumhavebeenmadeinatimelyway,leadingtostudents’flexibleintegratedknowledgeofEnglish,economicsandmanagementscience.Furthermore,threeotherforeignlanguages,i.e.Japanese,GermanandFrench,areprovidedforstudentstochoosetobetterequipthemselvesforthefuturecareer.
