1.accept, except, accept 是動詞,except 是介詞。
F:They excepted my invitation to dinner.
T:They accepted my invitatipn to dinner.

2.advice, advise, advice 是名詞,advise 是動詞。
F:His advise was very useful.

3.affect, effect. affect 是動詞; 意為influence. effect 可以是動詞也可以是名詞。動詞effect意為cause to happen, 名詞effect意為the result。

5.most ,almost most 是形容詞almost是副詞。

6. already, all ready. already 意為 before the time specified. all ready 意為 completely prepared。
F:The movie had all ready begun by the time we arrived.

7.altogether, all together. altogether意為thoroughly. Alt together 意為 in a group。
F:All together confused, he asked me to explain the word again.

8.amount,number,amount指不可數(shù)名詞,number指不可數(shù)名詞。

9. anywheres, somewheres, everywheres. 去掉s。

10. about, around. around指地點,about意為approximately
F: The mail arrived around ten o’clock.
