英語高頻考點(diǎn)：含有than的常考結(jié)構(gòu)

　　一、no+比較級(jí)+than

　　這類結(jié)構(gòu)的實(shí)際意思是對(duì)待比較的兩個(gè)對(duì)象進(jìn)行否定，相當(dāng)于該原級(jí)形容詞或副詞的反義詞使用as…as結(jié)構(gòu)的意思。如：

　　no better than = as bad as 與…一樣不好 (即一樣壞)

　　no faster than = as slow as 與…一樣不快 (即一樣慢)

　　no more expensive than = as cheap as 與…一樣不貴 (即一樣便宜)

　　He is no cleverer than her. 他與她一樣不聰明。(即一樣蠢)

　　He’s no richer than a beggar. 他同乞丐一樣窮。(即窮如乞丐)

　　二、no+比較級(jí)+than與not+比較級(jí)+than

　　前者表示“與…一樣不”，后者表示“不比…更”。如：

　　His English is not better than mine. 他的英語不如我的英語好。

　　His English is no better than mine. 他的英語同我的英語一樣不好。(即一樣差)

　　You are not more careful than he is. 你不如他仔細(xì)。

　　You are no more careful than he is. 你和他一樣不仔細(xì)。(即一樣粗心)

　　三、no more than與not more than

　　兩者均可表示數(shù)量，前者表示“僅僅”、“只有”(= only)，強(qiáng)調(diào)少；而后者表示“不多于”、“至多”(= at most)。如：

　　He is no more than an ordinary English teacher. 他只不過是個(gè)普通的英文老師。

　　He has no more than three children. 他只有 3 個(gè)孩子。

　　He has not more than three children. 他最多 3 個(gè)孩子(有或許還不到 3 個(gè)之意)。

　　四、no more…than與not more…than

　　兩者均可用于比較，前者表示對(duì)兩者都否定，意為“同…一樣不”(=neither ... nor)；而后者則指兩者雖都具有某種特征，但程度不同，意為“不如”、“不及”(= not so ... as)。如：

　　He is no more a writer than a painter. 他不是畫家，也不是作家。

　　He’s no more able to read Spanish than I am. 他和我都讀不懂西班牙語。

　　She is not more clever than he is. 她不如他聰明。

　　This book is not more difficult than that one. 這本書不比那本書更難。

　　五、no less than 與not less than

　　均可表示數(shù)量，前者意為“多達(dá)”、“有…之多”，強(qiáng)調(diào)多；后者表示“不下于”、“至少”。如：

　　He has no less than seven daughters. 他有七個(gè)女兒之多。

　　He has not less than seven daughters. 他至少有七個(gè)女兒。

　　六、no more …than 與 no less…than

　　前者意為“與…一樣不”，否定兩者；而后者則表示“和…一樣”，肯定兩者。如：

　　She’s no more a great singer than I am. 他不是優(yōu)秀歌手，我也不是。

　　Your brother is no less wise than you. 你的兄弟跟你一樣聰明。

　　A whale is no more a fish than a horse is. 馬不是魚，鯨也不是魚。

　　A dolphin is no less a clever animal than a dog is. 海豚與狗同樣都是聰明的動(dòng)物。
